We are a non-profit, 501(c)3 tax exempt youth football and cheer organization dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football and cheer to our youth as well as focusing on academics. We are a member of the NORCAL conference within the national structure provided by American Youth Football (AYF). Novato Youth Football and Cheer is very fortunate to have the many board members, coach volunteers, and parent volunteers that keep our program moving forward. Our partnership with the school districts, the two local high schools and generous sponsors allows us to provide our kids with the best fields, equipment and facilities. We encourage each of you to get involved in 2011!

When the score is mounting against your team, it gets easy to lose perspective. Against the Richmond Steelers, the scores got uglier and uglier for the Novato teams as the games progressed. The Steelers won all four games handily, beating the Mighty Bees 31-6, topping the Killer Bees 40-6, besting the Stingers 34-6 and downing the Yellow Jackets 45-20. Read more >

The 2011 season is the 50th anniversary of Novato Youth Football. With the Novato Junior Hornets playing their first game in 1962, there has been 50 years worth of players and coaches going through the program that all of you worked so hard to build.
To celebrate this unique milestone in Marin County youth athletics, Novato Youth Football and Cheer is holding a 50th Anniversary party on Saturday, October 1st from noon to 6pm at Hoog Park in Ignacio. All alumni, whether they be former players, coaches or board members are being invited to join us in marking this important event in the shared history of our small town community.
We will be hosting a picnic and silent auction with jump houses for the kids and even a dunk tank to soak the coaches!. Hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks will be served.
