Welcome to Novato Pop Warner!
We are a non-profit, 501(c)3 tax exempt youth football and cheer organization dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of football and cheer to our youth as well as focusing on academics. We are a member of the Peninsula Pop Warner Little Scholars conference within the national structure provided by Pop Warner. Novato Pop Warner is very fortunate to have the many board members, coach volunteers, and parent volunteers that keep our program moving forward. Our partnership with the school districts, the two local high schools and generous sponsors allows us to provide our kids with the best fields, equipment and facilities. We encourage each of you to get involved in 2012!

2012 SEASON ANNOUNCMENTS for Novato Pop Warner

3-3-12 Registration for the 2012 Season
starts next week!

Novato Pop Warner will be holding open registration sessions at San Jose Middle School on:

- Saturday, March 10th from 10am to 2pm and
- Wednesday, March 14th from 5:30pm to 8pm

As always, registration is first come, first served. To be sure to get a spot on a team, especially at the lower levels, be sure to arrive early. As with priror seasons and per national Pop Warner rules, we must limit registration to just 35 players per team.

At both of these registration sessions, all players will be weighed in and assigned to teams after submitting required paperwork and a payment of registration fees. Total registration fees are $400, which includes the $100 cost of custom home and away game jerseys for each player. Payment plans will be available with a minimum first payment of $175 due at registration. Scholarship applications will not be accepted until after registration is completed and the initial payment of $175 is submitted. Sibling discounts will be available.

For those who cannot attend either of the two registration sessions, online registration will be opened up on Thursday, 3/15. However, please note that no roster spots are guaranteed for online registrants, so we very much recommend attending the open registrations on 3/10 and 3/14 in order to ensure your player gets a spot on a team.

As always, coaches will be present to answer any questions you or your players might have and to discuss the exciting return of Novato Pop Warner. We are very much looking forward to what should be a great season for Novato football.

2-12-12 Novato Pop Warner

Over 50 years ago, Novato Youth Football was founded as Novato Pop Warner, a charter member of Pop Warner's Pacific Northwest Region. After four years of partnering with alternative organizations, Novato Youth Football has decided to realign with the natgionally recognized Pop Warner Little Scholars organization by joining the Peninsula Pop Warner conference.

The Board of Directors for Novato Youth Football is very excited by this change. While it does allow us to partner with a nationally known and extremely stable conference, it also provides us with the high level of competition we were seeking and follows a weight limit structure that is very much in line with the children Novato Youth Football serves.

As before, Novato Youth Football will continue to play in Division 2 along with Southern Marin. What's different is that now our regular season will be comprised primarily, if not exclusively, with other Division 2 programs. Combine this fact with the proximity of the teams available in Peninsula Pop Warner and it is clear that it is good to be back home in Pop Warner where we spent 45 of our organization's last 50 years.

Stay tuned to www.NovatoYouthFootball.com for more details as they arise and feel free check out our new conference at www.ppwls.com.
